SECRET PLOTTING BEHIND EVERYONE'S BACKS. • As Starscream hasn't won his loyalty (he does have loyalty to be won I swear, it's just one of the hardest things on the planet to do and harder to keep) he's still plotting to overthrow him when he messes up big time. This includes a lot of the manipulating he's already been doing. Because of what happened when he attempted to experiment on Starscream's spark, he's going to be extra cautious and not implement this plan unless it is 100% logical - ego pushed so far aside.
• He still has all his cloning research from long ago (read: during the summer) but it was pushed aside for the creation of the Biobliterator. He'll get back to this project eventually.
• Remember that apartment he used to live in, before he was invited to Deceptibase? He still owns it. Only GLaDOS and Soundwave ever knew where it was. He keeps some very important things (notes and stuff) in there. I'm listing this here because this is the place he'll often disappear to when he's can't be anywhere else. So if he's avoiding the 'Cons ever this is likely where he'll be.
• Bug army. HE'S MAKING SOME INSECTICONS OF HIS VERY OWN.
• So that work he's doing on Grimlock and the other animals. And that trip to Alaska? That talk of how Bayverse had star eaters for energy, and the fact that he's completely insane and obsessed with Vector Sigma and what he learnt from it. He's established that this Earth is not as significant as his Earth, but primary functions still demand conquest. The planet otherwise is still incredibly similar, so he's altering his plans he had for his Earth to match up with this one. Since Soundwave followed him to Alaska and he let him watch everything he did there if 'Wave Bro wanted, he probably knows some of the details of what he's doing, or at least has some idea that Shockwave is up to something.
