Spell List (possible)

MAGIC
Starscream has been trying to learn magic from Loki, and I wanted to clear how much and what kinds of magic he could learn. I'm going to be keeping this to very, very simple spells. He might be able to learn the fundamental principles, and eventually do somewhat more interesting things, but for now I only want him to have the most basic control of magic.
I'm basing what he's going to learn on 0th level Sorcerer/Wizard spells from Dungeons and Dragons. Yes, really. There's a reason for this – 0th level spells in DnD are designed to be only useful to the most creative of persons, and pretty much non-damaging. No permanent objects, no giant fireballs, just little things that could even be mistaken for simple parlor tricks, not real magic. Note finally that these spells all draw on his overall energy reserves – that is, they'll drain the power reserve he normally uses for flight and lasers. Mostly to keep limits on him.
I've put time limits for how long it'll take him to learn each spell with practice and regular training with Loki. If he stops talking to Loki or stops practicing, he won't learn any more.
The first thing I want him to learn is Light. Basically, he can create the equivalent of the light of a candle. This light won't burn anything – it's just light, and that's it. He'll know this right away, as it's the first spell he's been practicing.
The second spell will be Prestidigitation, which is a bunch of minor parlor tricks. This lets him do the following:
- slowly (VERY, VERY, VERY SLOWLY) lift 1 pound of material.
- color, clean, or soil items that fit in a 1-foot cube.
- chill, warm, or flavor 1 pound of nonliving material.
- Create objects small enough to fit in the palm of one's hand. These objects are very shoddy in their construction and very easily broken, like the kinds of toys you get out of vending machines or in boxes.
Any changes to an object beyond cleaning, soiling, or moving it only lasts for one hour; same with fake items. So, for example, Starscream could turn a bunch of red roses blue, but this would only last an hour. Lifting a one pound object takes freaking forever and a shit ton of effort, so it's really not effective as a combat maneuver. Also, objects can only be lifted – they can't be moved laterally.
He'll get Prestidigitation next Saturday, if that's ok with you guys.
Next month, I'd like him to get Flare and Dancing Lights, basically an upgrade of Light. Flare will let him create a blinding flash of light like a camera flash; Dancing Lights will provide for little colored balls of light that he can cause to dance around.
In the middle of January, I'd like him to learn minor telekinesis – he'll only be able to move up to five pounds worth of stuff, and that very slowly. Faster than what Prestidigitation can do, but not fast enough to injure anyone. He can also only move things up to fifteen feet away from him. Bit like the whole Jedi trick of "gimmie dat lightsaber!" Furthermore, if someone's holding on tight to an object he won't be able to get it at all.
I'm going to leave this list for now, though other spells I have in mind are Shocking Grasp (at will, replicate the effect you get from shuffling across carpet in your socks), Touch of Weariness (make someone feel slightly sleepy by poking them), Ghost Sound (weird nonsense sounds!) and, possibly, 'detect soul' (which will tell him if something does, in fact, have a soul; but nothing ABOUT said soul. Given that most creatures do, you can see the lack of usefulness here.)
Just lemmie know if this is OK.
